HOLY COW that was a pain in the rear end... but it did work to clean it.... took an hour plus to do. I wish the video would have showed how they actually CLEANED the blades as the screw that holds them onto the motor would not loosen. Someone mentioned using your air compressor and that did a pretty good job. I can see why people toss these in the trash once they get really dirty...

Great video! I can’t believe how much I had to take apart to clean this fan! But once I got to the back was determined to finish what I started. Despite not being sure I’d get it back together. I finally got it back together but I admit the cartridge is off balance and makes a lot of noise. I’m going to take off the top parts and fix the cartridge, at least I now know how to take it apart and get it back together.
